Ahead of its official launch, the hatch has been spotted undisguised at a Maruti Suzuki dealership, allowing us to take a clear and cluster look at the India-spec hatch. The India-spec model looks more or less the same but here it gets differently designed alloy wheels. Other exterior highlights include a re-designed front bumper and a new grille with chunky black surrounds and it also features re-designed smoked LED headlamps with DRLs. Below it gets the revised fog lamp housing with a splitter.

The biggest change on the new Swift is on the powertrain front. The new Swift is expected to be powered by an all-new 1.2-litre, three-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine that’ll replace the existing K12 four-cylinder engine. Detailed specifications haven’t been revealed yet but it’s expected to have more than 85 hp of Power and 110 nm torque. Gearbox options will include a 5-speed manual or an AMT.
