Sometimes all that is needed is simplicity and clarity. This film is that. I went in expecting more and finished with more than it apparently delivers. It is old fashioned in a good way and modern in a very invisible manner. It is deceptively simple in its treatment and humour.”

During a conversation with author Neelesh Misra, Aamir lauded the performances of all the actors in ‘Laapataa Ladies,’ singling out Sparsh Shrivastava for particular praise. Khan admitted that Shrivastava’s performance surprised him, emphasizing the overall excellence displayed by the entire cast, including the junior actors.
He elaborated, singling out Nitanshi, Pratibha, and Ravi for their excellent portrayal of their respective roles. However, it was Sparsh’s performance that truly amazed him. His performance was so compelling that it evoked genuine empathy from the audience.
