Robyn Bernard, best known for her role as Terry Brock in the hit television series ‘General Hospital‘ has been found dead.
According to reports on various news portals, the actress, who shot to fame in the 1980s, was discovered in an open field in San Jacinto, California. She was 64.
The circumstances surrounding her death remain undisclosed, with
no cause of death was established.Investigations into her sudden demise are being carried out by the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
Having retired from the entertainment industry over two decades ago, news of Bernard’s passing shocked her fans and colleagues who took to soocial media to mourn her demise. Fans of General Hospital took to their handles to tweet, “My prayers and condolences to the family and friends of Robyn Bernard.”
Another said, “She was the life of the #GH party. Rest in Peace, Robyn Bernard.”
Still another said, “It’s devastating to hear of the passing of Robyn Bernard who was in General Hospital such sad news sending condolences to her family and friends RIP Robyn Bernard.”
Her tenure on ‘General Hospital’, spanned from 1984 to 1990. She played the daughter of David Groh’s villainous D.L. Brock for 145 episodes until her exit in 1990.
Beyond her soap opera success, she also graced the silver screen with appearances in films such as 1981’s ‘Diva’ and 1986’s ‘Betty Blue’. Her final credited role was as a psychologist in the 2002 production titled ‘Voices From the High School’.
