MHT CET 2024: The PCB exams are scheduled to take place from April 22 to 30. The PCM exams will be conducted from May 2 to 16

The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell has recently announced the revised exam dates for the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) 2024, for engineering, LLB, nursing, and other programmes. For candidates appearing in the MHT CET 2024, the Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) exams are scheduled to take place from April 22 to April 30. Additionally, the exams for Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) will be conducted from May 2 to May 16.

The MHT CET exam 2024 for both PCB and PCM categories was earlier scheduled to take place from 16 to 30 April on various dates. However, the exam has been postponed now. While the reason for this revision hasn’t been explicitly stated in the notice, it’s likely due to the forthcoming Lok Sabha general elections this year. MHT CET 2024: Revised Exam Schedule

MHT CET 2024 (PCB Group): April 22, 23, 24, 28, 29 and 30

PCM Group: May 2, 3, 4, 5, 9, 10, 11, 15, and 16

MAH- AAC CET: May 12

MAH-BA/BSc BEd (Four Year Integrated Course): May 17

MAH- LLB 5 years: May 17

MH- Nursing CET: May 18

MAH-BHMCT CET: May 22

MAH- BBCA, BBA, BMS, BBM CET: May 27 to 29

MHT CET 2024: Exam Pattern

The syllabus for the MHT CET exam is directly drawn from the textbooks of classes 11 and 12. According to the test pattern, 20 per cent of the questions will be based on the curriculum of class 11, while the remaining 80 per cent will be derived from the syllabus of class 12.

In the MHT CET 2024, there will be two papers, each carrying a total of 100 marks. For PCM applicants, the first exam will be Mathematics. On the other hand, for candidates with PCB, the first paper will cover Biology. Both PCB and PCM exams include sections on Physics and Chemistry. Candidates will have a total of three hours to complete their exams.

The MHT CET 2024 application form correction window has been opened for candidates seeking admission to engineering, agriculture, and other technological courses.
