CUET PG 2024 Begins Today: Check Documents to Carry, Exam Guidelines Issued by NTA

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is gearing up to conduct the CUET PG examination from today, March 11 to March 28, 2024. This computer-based test will be administered online and will last for 1 hour and 45 minutes (105 minutes), spread across three shifts. Shift 1 will run from 9 am to 10:45 am, and shift 2 from 12:45 pm to 2:30 pm, and shift 3 from 4:30 pm to 6:15 pm.

Candidates preparing for the CUET PG 2024 can access the official website pgcuet.samarth.ac.in to download the advance city intimation slip. Additionally, the agency has issued exam day guidelines and instructions via an official information bulletin, which candidates are advised to review thoroughly.

CUET PG 2024: Documents to Carry

Candidates must carry the following documents with them into the examination venue or else they will not be allowed to sit in the examination:

— Print out of admit card downloaded from the NTA/ Samarth website along with Self Declaration.

— One passport-size photograph (same as uploaded on the application form) for pasting on the Attendance Sheet at the examination centre.

— Any one of the original authorised photo IDs, such as a University, College Identity Card, PAN card, Driving License, Voter ID, Passport, Aadhaar Card, Ration Card with photograph, or Bank Passbook with Photograph.

— PwBD certificate, if applicable issued by the authorised medical officer.

CUET PG 2024: Exam Day Guidelines

It is strongly recommended for candidates to carefully read and adhere to the instructions provided for the examination day. Failure to do so may result in candidates being denied entry to the examination hall. Following the guidelines ensures a smooth and fair examination process for all candidates.

Candidates are advised to report to the exam hall on time, that is, approximately 90 minutes before the start of the examination. They must take their seats as soon as the examination hall opens. If applicants fail to report on time due to any reason, such as traffic congestion, train/bus delays, etc., they are likely to miss some of the key instructions that will be announced in the examination rooms/halls. NTA shall not be liable for any delays.

The applicant must show the admit card downloaded/printed from the official website of NTA on-demand for admission to the examination hall. The test centre staff on duty is permitted to check applicants’ identities and may take steps to verify and validate their credentials. Candidates are requested to provide their full cooperation. The Centre Superintendent will not allow a candidate to take the examination unless they have a valid admit card and authorised photo ID.

Each candidate will be allotted a seat, indicating his or her roll number. Candidates should find and sit only in their assigned seats. If a candidate is caught shifting his or her seat and is not found sitting on the seat allotted to him/her, their candidature may be cancelled. No appeal will be entertained in this regard.

The applicant should ensure that the question paper available on the computer is according to his/her chosen subject listed on the admit card. If the subject of the question paper differs from his/her chosen subject, it should be brought to the attention of the invigilator concerned.

Examinees must not bring any item or article that has been prohibited or that can be used for unfair practices, such as stationery, communication devices, accessories, eatable items, ornaments, or any other material or information relevant or irrelevant to the examination in the paper in question.

Candidates may approach the Centre Superintendent/Invigilator in the room if they want technical assistance, a first-aid emergency, or any other information during the course of the examination. If a candidate appears in more than one shift/date by furnishing false information, his candidature will be terminated, and his result will not be declared. For candidates who fail to appear on the scheduled date of examination for any reason, the NTA will not conduct a re-test under any circumstances.
